A FREE GIVEAWAY to say... Thank You!

If you read my last blog post, then you know life has been pretty rough for us lately. Believe it or not, we've actually dealt with even more bad news and drama since I wrote that. It would be easy to sit around and dwell on all the negativity.... but I just don't want to do that anymore!

The truth is, if we've seen anything worth dwelling on this week it's the love and support we've felt from so many of you. I've gotten phone calls, text messages, emails, and lots of facebook messages and comments from quite a few of you telling us how much you care about us. I've even had several people say that they pray for us everyday... what a humbling thought!

So - today I want to do something for all of YOU! Many of you have read my blog for years, and you've "been there" for so much. You've followed us across the country and around the world - in sickness and in health, happiness and tears, good times and bad. And it's way overdue that I show you how much I appreciate you!

That's why I'm having my first ever blog GIVEAWAY! During Christmas, I was looking for an inexpensive but meaningful gift for several of our friends and family members. We were on a budget, so I decided on this DIY project that I could personalize for each recipient.... a patriotic print for my Uncle Britt who's in the army... Winnie-the-Pooh for my Aunt Tammy... a football print for my father-in-law... you get the idea! Nothing says "I care" quite like a handmade gift.

While I was working I made a couple of extras with you all in mind, and today I finally got them stuffed and finished for our give-away! These natural therapy bags are great stress relievers (which you may need after reading my blog - ha!), and can actually be used hot or cold. I made these two the perfect size to fit over your eyes and temples in case of a headache. They are scented with Lavender & Peppermint essential oils, which are amazing natural remedies for headaches and also aid in stress relief and relaxation! Just keep one in the freezer and pull it out when you've had a rough day!

Of course you can always use them the "traditional" way - by popping them in the microwave for a minute or two. They're great to use as heating pads for cramps, back pain, or neck pain!

Up for giveaway today are 2 of these little therapy bags. The first (above)  is a striped fabric I fell in love with - full of greens, blues, browns, and golds. The other (below) is the most precious cream and chocolate brown toile - I won't lie, I struggled with wanting to keep this one for myself!

To be entered in the giveaway, all you have to do is COMMENT BELOW
and tell me which fabric is your favorite!

That's it - nothing else needed! Just be sure to include your name and email address, so that I can contact you if you're the winner. (I promise I won't use your email address for anything else!) Maybe I'll even get to "meet" some of you who've never commented before!

The giveaway starts NOW! We'll be traveling again next week, but I will do my best to announce the winner next Friday (June 24th). Thanks again for reading and for all your support!

  4. They're both so lovely, but the toile is my favorite! However, I could make one for myself if I'd get my sewing machine out, so...if by chance I win, I'd want you to keep it. BTW, Chris and I are continually praying for you both!
